Open Cluster  NGC 457   Cassiopeia
NGC 457 is the brightest open star cluster in  the constellation Cassiopeia and one of the most beautiful objects of its kind in the northern sky. With a brightness of +6.4, it is barely visible to the naked eye, but easy to see with binoculars and a beautiful sight with a telescope. See also the counterpart in the southern sky, the brilliant open cluster  - NGC 4755.
