NGC 253 - Sculptor Galaxy (also known as Silver Coin, Silver Dollar Galaxy) is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor and one of the brightest visible galaxies. It is a starburst galaxy, which means that it is currently undergoing a phase of intense star formation. Due to the short exposure time, the image is not very "deep", so my attention was focused on the dynamic centre of the galaxy during image processing. |
